The Daily Northwestern’s Special Stipend Program
The Daily Northwestern’s Special Stipend Program seeks to recruit and support low-income staffers and those with financial need in moving forward at the paper, given the time commitment that some staffers take on in the newsroom. Each quarter, eligible students can apply to receive stipends to support their development within The Daily, including training and mentorship.
Eligible students must have already completed the recruitment (Devo) process.
Please Note: Each participating student receives up to $500. Students will receive payment twice a quarter: $250 around week 5 and another $250 during finals week.
