Student Enrichment Services Winter Gear Program
FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS ONLY
SES provides winter gear to lower-income students who cannot afford outerwear that is sufficient for cold weather and snow. The Winter Gear program includes coats, scarves, gloves, hats, and boots (boots are provided on a case by case basis). Winter Gear is a limited program, intended for students who would not have access to quality outerwear without the additional funding. Eligibility is based on financial need, as verified through the Office of Undergraduate Financial Aid.
Winter Gear is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. We advise that students plan ahead and apply as soon as possible.
Students who have previously received Winter Gear are not eligible to apply again this year.
How to Apply:
You must complete BOTH the General SES One Form Basic Profile (General application) AND the Winter Gear application. Students who have previously received Winter Gear are not eligible to apply again this year without an exception from SES.
Important Reminders: Winter Gear is provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
Award Amount: Coat, gloves, hat, scarf and boots
How it works: If your application is accepted, SES will give you a card with $300 value that can be spent on eligible items from the JCPenney website. You will need to order the items yourself and send the information on your order to SES and JCPenney. More specific details will be given post-acceptance.
